Texas Trivia

Located near the mouth of the Brazos River, Brazoria was first established in 1828 as a port and trading center for Austin's colony. Although the town was burned in 1836 during the Runaway Scrape, it was rebuilt and served as an important trading center during the Republic. By 1840 claimed six newspapers. Decline of river trade and the lack of rail transportation, however, caused a gradual decline so that by 1892 the county seat was moved to nearby Angleton.

This is our 11mm Lone Star Cut Blue Topaz (the Official State Stone of Texas) Pendant - it is not our largest (12mm) but it can certainly be seen!! And the mounting it's in?? WE LOVE IT!! It is 14 karat gold, with a simple yet neat scroll design pendant & bail. We use this for a lot of stones but it lends itself especially well to the Lone Star Cut Blue Topaz. It's perfect to wear during the day & can make an easy transition to your night life as well, it's sure to help dress up any outfit from goin two-steppin with your man to rockin the rodeo!!
